These are examples of some of the clocks I have made out of mesquite wood and used the Turquoise InLace. Each piece is finished with Spar Urethane. The natural cracks in the wood, along with the many worm holes make each piece unique. I am starting a business called "The West Texas Wood Pile".
Living in West Texas gives me an endless supply of mesquite, oaks, and pecan to work with. The wood that isn't used for art goes into the bar-b-que or fireplace during the winter. I really enjoy making these pieces. I never tried it before two years ago and surprised myself. The more I make, the more ideas I get.
