Big Leaf Maple Burl

This is a small cup made out of Big Leaf Maple Burl. It had an occlusion that opened up during finishing. I used a Dremel to open it up a little more and used Turquoise Granules to fill it. After it sets up it is easy to work and won't hurt gouges. So rather than throwing out a piece, it sold for $35.
