Our Artist Galleries offer the opportunity for artists to present themselves and their work to the InLace community. Artisans may elect to provide their name, website link, email - or not. 'Anonymous' Galleries are allowed, and you can be identified with only a Username of your choice. In this event, we will maintain contact information as confidential, held solely for internal use, e.g., if a copyright dispute were to arise, InLace Book .com must be on the right side of the legalities.

Send us good quality pictures, and provide any comments you wish specific to each picture. Each 'large image' page will accommodate text specific to that project. We can include text on each picture page with a title, description, and notes specific to that piece.

Include comments about your work in general. Each artist has a Gallery Index page, where a small version of each picture will be posted and linked to a large version(s). Each artist's Gallery Index page provides an opportunity to tell other InLace users about yourself and your work; biography, artistic philosophy...... Text on any page is entirely optional of course. If preferred, pictures alone are perfectly sufficient, though titles or descriptions of the work and artist are recommended.

The larger the image and the larger the file size, the more flexibility we have in best editing and presenting the work, especially if presenting close-up views in addition to the large images.

If the file sizes are particularly large, pictures can be sent in multiple emails, or we can make other arrangements for acquiring the files. Please limit emails to no more than 8MB. With a 16MB connection, speed is not an issue for us - but bandwidth throttling on emails typically limits transmission speed and total amount of allowed data. Simply note in the first email how many total pictures and emails that we should expect to receive. This will ensure that we are aware of any pictures or emails lost in cyberspace. It happens. Very large emails are more likely to have problems.

There is no 'fee' for an artist Gallery section. You don't even have to be an InLace Book .com customer. This is a service that we provide any user of the brand that does good, work, provides quality pictures, and adds knowledge to our community. InLace Book .com is an outlet for the presentation.

Artists retain copyright and ownership of provided images and text (whether used 'as is' or edited). InLace Book .com will not use submissions in any context outside of the artist's personal Gallery page(s) without prior arrangement otherwise. Removal requests, after verification, will typically be honored within 72 hours. InLace Book .com may crop and size images, edit text, or whatever we feel is needed to best present Artist Gallery submissions.

No Gallery, picture, or text is 'forever'. Depending upon response, quality of work, extent of contribution, volume of future submissions (to list a few possibilities), Galleries will be updated or deleted as deemed best for the continued development of InLace Book .com and the standard of works and artists presented.

The Artist Gallery Policy is occasionally edited for detail and clarity. Changes will typically be quite minor and the most current version will always be published. Though the exact wording may change, the statement regarding copyright and usage permission will at no time be substantively changed:  "Artists retain copyright and ownership of provided images and text (whether used 'as is' or edited). InLace Book .com will not use submissions in any context outside of the artist's personal Gallery page(s) without prior arrangement otherwise."
