Thicken-It is our top selling InLace 'optional' product. The resin mixture can be made much easier to work with by adding Thicken-It. It is especially useful for any artisan that is working 'in the round' (as with a bowl or flute), and crafters that are working with curved surfaces (as with gourds). The addition of Thicken-It allows the artist to sufficiently thicken the resin mix so that it is much easier to control application of the InLace mixture. A little goes a long way, so just work into the resin mix a little at a time, until the desired consistency is achieved. Then, just add the Hardener and proceed with the inlay. Thicken-It is packaged in a 4 ounce jar.

Buffing Compound

The Buffing Compound is nearly the final step to finishing an InLace project. After sanding the inlay nearly flush to the surface of the project by working from coarse to fine grits, finish the project by bringing out the maximum luster of InLace. This is achieved by creating a high polish with the use of the Buffing Compound, followed by the ultimate step of the Polishing Compound. The Buffing Compound comes in a 4 ounce block.

The Polishing Compound is the last step in an InLace project. After sanding the inlay, the polishing process brings out the full shine and glory of InLace. Use the Buffing Compound in the first step of the polishing process, then 'bring it home' with the Polishing Compound. Comes in a 4 ounce block.

Hardener

Plenty of Hardener is included with each kit, but it doesn't hurt to have extra on hand. In the event of 'a spill', it might not be plenty anymore:)) The Hardener comes with a standard cap, and also includes a 'dropper cap'. Additional Hardener is available in 1 ounce bottles.

This package is our second most popular optional 'extra' product after Thicken-It. Extra measuring and mixing supplies 'on hand' are always a wise idea. Of course, each kit includes several of each item, but as the user works with InLace and experiments with new techniques and recipes additional basic supplies are, for many, a 'must have' item. Twenty-five each: 1 ounce measuring cups, 3 ounce measuring cups, and stirrers.
